Cat grooming and hangouts are not bookable online, please contact us to book in. 

The duration of your pets groom depends on a number of factors such as size, groom type and temperament. You can expect your pet to be with us for up to 3 hours, but we will let you know as soon as they are ready. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accomodate pet parents staying for the duration of their pets groom. If you want to hang around, you can pop over to Pure Bred Coffee Bar in our complex for a coffee.

You can find our price list here. We quote our grooms based on style of groom, type of hair and weight of pet. Prices subject to change based on pet's condition, size and breed. Please refer to size guide. All prices, given without having personally assessed your pet, are an estimate only.

Yes. All grooming services include a warm bath, blow dry, brush, comb out, nails trimmed, paw pads, hygiene area and ears cleaned. 

We recommend introducing your puppy to grooming as soon as possible. After their second puppy vaccination is a great place to start, but before 6 months of age. 

Our groomers are not trained in expressing anal glads, we recommend seeing your Vet for this.

We do not provide medicated shampoo, however, if your dog requires it, you are welcome to bring it with you. We do have a sensitive skin shampoo. 

We appreciate it can be expected for even a well-cared coat to have a few small knots, but when we are presented with more substantial matting, there will be an extra charge. We will attempt to de-matt a coat, only where we feel the pet will not suffer any pain.

All of our grooming services adhere to and go beyond The Australian Capital Territory's 1992 Animal Welfare Act prohibits cruelty by intentionally causing pain or failing to act.It is an offence to cause animals pain or discomfort and we reserve the right to refuse to do anything we think may be detrimental to your pets wellbeing - be assured that we will always put your pet's welfare first. When a pet is presented to us in a severely matted condition, the animal's welfare will be in the front of mind. It is then our policy to shave the whole coat using electric clippers with a close blade.

There is a chance that your pet’s skin may become irritated from clipping so close due to matting. The procedure takes extreme care and extra time, due to this there will be additional charges depending on the severity of the matting. This will be discussed during your consultation.

Matting leads to many skin conditions:

Eye and ear infections, fungal and bacterial infections 

Hot spots and sores
Severe itching, yeast infections, skin rashes

Yes, we sure do! Just let us know you would like the breed standard for your dogs breed.

While we do our best to educate pet parents on the risks and highly advise against it, we can do it at your request, as long as you understand and agree to the risks. We will always recommend our deshed and tidy service. If your dog is matted to the skin, we will have to shave them.
