DOG grooming basics

IMPORTANCE OF DOG GROOMING

Regular grooming is essential for maintaining your dog's health and appearance. It helps to eliminate dead skin and hair, prevents matting and knots, and distributes natural oils throughout their skin and coat.

At Canine Crib Co., our professional stylists are equipped with the expertise to groom your dog's specific breed and ensure that the experience is as stress-free and positive as possible. Knowing your dog's breed and coat requirements is crucial for proper grooming. We strive to educate our clients on their dog's specific coat needs to ensure that they are groomed correctly.

introducing your pup to grooming

If possible, it is important to start grooming your dog as a puppy, the sooner the better. We recommend bringing your puppy in for our puppy groom after their second vaccination and before 6 months of age. Our Puppy grooming service for pups under 6 months is an introduction to grooming. Subject to your pups comfort level we will give your pup a bath, blow dry, brush our, tidy up if face, feet and hygiene areas as well as ear clean and nail trim.
